Over the last few years we have added some serious performance to our walking herd sires by adding sons of LT Ledger, Pleasant Dawn Chisum, and Pleasant Dawn MVP to our herd. We are really looking forward to see how each of these young sires will complement each other and impact our herd with their performance, docility, and polled traits.

In addition to our walking sires we also selectively AI to a number of sires to achieve specific matings and diversity within our herd including Sparrows Fargo, Sparrows Kingston, XAL Firestruck, WC Benelli, and more.

Classic combines all the traits of a great performance bull and has the numbers to back it up. Throw in a great disposition, thick hair, solid feet, and top it all off with being homozygous polled and you can see why he was the high seller at the Pleasant Dawn Charolais annual bull sale.

We purchased Clover as a calf from the Jordan River dispersal sale in December 2015. Clover combines the proven genetics of TR MR Firewater and LT Ledger who have both had a tremendous influence on the Charolais breed. As a calf Clover stood out to us as a thick, well-muscled, and docile bull and he continues to impress with his stoutness the older he gets.

Benelli is well on his way to having a huge impact in our Charolais program! He throws an extremely consistent set of calves providing a uniform set of feminine females while his long, thick sons really pack on the pounds. At our 2016 sale our top 2 selling yearlings were both Benelli sons which tipped the scales with over 1400 pound yearling weights. Since using Benelli in our AI and ET program we have developed a number of young females producing within our herd.
